The policy relates to the INI Academy Training platform. INI Academy respects the privacy of all participants in its global network and takes it seriously. We collect and use information from our websites only as disclosed in this privacy statement. This privacy statement applies to and discloses the privacy practices of information collected by INI Academy only. If you use INI Academy Training Services (a “User”), this policy applies to you, and you are bound by it. If you disagree, with any part of this privacy statement, please do not use our websites.
INI Academy is the data controller of the information you provide during the process of application, registration, certification, examination, or other purposes as outlined in this privacy statement. Any details entered in one of our online forms will be stored electronically by us. Collection, processing and storage of data
The INI Academy Training platform collects data directly from the User input when you visit our website. We may collect and process personal data relating to past and present users and learners during business. Processing data includes collecting; recording; storing; altering; disclosing; destroying; and blocking. This policy governs INI Academy’s approach to data and does not apply to any third-party organizations which we may have partnered with. The personal information we collect includes your name, e-mail address, phone number, and the organization you work for. This information ensures that users get the services they request and helps us complete your registration process by identifying you as a user of our website. All User personal data is stored securely on third party cloud-based electronic storage and safeguarded.
Third party information processors and service providers:
Additional information is requested such as financial information (such as credit card number, expiry date) for billing purposes. Payments made on the INI Academy Training website are processed by a third-party service called PAYSTACK to process card details through a secure connection. PAYSTACK returns the transaction status and the name of the card holder to us. We do not receive credit card numbers nor retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. Course information
A User can enroll in a course offered by INI Academy or its Partners. Aggregated data on age, gender (where available) and country of origin is shared with Partners relating to the Users enrolled on the courses they offer and is subject to a legal agreement between INI Academy and each Partner.
INI Academy processes certain data collected to ensure Users and learner progress are uniquely identified, and accurate records are maintained in order to deliver the INI Academy learning service and to comply with the relevant legal obligations. This will include regular emails to keep Users informed of their progress and make various suggestions and recommendations. Patterns of usage behavior and course content evaluation is also collected and stored as data to help INI Academy and Partners improve the services and offer the most appropriate content and courses to Users.
Self-service control: Children
INI Academy recognizes the importance of privacy interests of children. This policy is not for children. Parents and guardians need to take an active role in their children’s online environment, and we do not knowingly collect or maintain information about children.
Retention of data
INI Academy will keep certain data for a specified period only as long as necessary. This may include keeping Other Information for whatever period needed for INI Academy needs to pursue its legitimate business interests, conduct audits, comply with (and demonstrate compliance with) legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce commercial agreements.
Security and disclosure of data
INI Academy will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate security measures are in place to protect the confidentiality of your information at all times. INI Academy has appropriate security measures in place to protect against unauthorized access. Security measures will be reviewed from time to time, having regard to the technology available, the cost and the risk of unauthorized access.

This policy will be regularly reviewed to take into account changes in the law and the experience of the policy in practice. You will not be notified of changes in this privacy statement when updates are posted to the website.
